“Today was full of feel good moments for our community and our team”

Dear Team,

Today we hosted our very 1st back to school backpack/school supply giveaway. With the help of a couple local businesses and our team we were able to get 28 backpacks and enough supplies to fill them! Families were able to come to the restaurant, pick out a backpack and pick out the supplies they needed. A local thrift store donated gently used books so families could pick out some books, receive a burgers for books bookmark and a local cookie shop gave out their reading program as well.

All the attendees were so grateful… but one mama in particular, as she was leaving, softly said, “you don’t know how much you just helped us. You had so much of what they need here. I’ll only have to spend like $10… which is good, because that’s about all I’ve got left.”

Today was full of feel good moments for our community and our team, we can't wait to continue to be apart of helping those around us.
