We received more than 14,000 insanely delicious Gourmet Burger recipes from kids ages 6 through 12 for "The Next Gourmet Burger Kids' Recipe Contest." Many thanks to all of the kid chefs who shared their culinary creations with us!

We are currently judging the entries and will notify one local winner from each participating U.S Red Robin(r) restaurant by September 5, 2008. From the restaurant winners, 50 entries will be chosen to be included in a kids' cookbook on sale next summer. Then, 10 finalists will be selected and notified by the end of September to compete in the Championship event on December 5, 2008. Check back for more details in the coming months!

Red Robin® restaurants raised a grand total of $315,294 through Tip-A-Cop events to benefit each Special Olympics chapter in Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Oregon and Washington. During the Tip-A-Cop fundraiser, law enforcement along with local Special Olympics athletes sold special paper icons and collected tips from restaurant Guests to be used for the continued development of Special Olympics training and competition programs. Many thanks to all of the Guests who gave donations to support such a wonderful cause.
